StoreFront - second server - Initial Join failed

Hi all,

we try to join the new SF to the existing configuration.

We try this using a DDC/FS combination and a brand two new SF-Only systems.

Every time we got the same errors. (Hinzufügen von Server fehlgeschlagen)

Environment:

Win2019 1809  // SF: Version: 1912.0.2000.14
Within Windows specific Event-logs we got nothing.
We see the 3 errors within "App- and Sericeprotocols/Citrix Delivery Services"

Hey Dirk,

the key to this error is the  language of the servers.

Both StoreFront server need to be installed in english otherwise the attempt to join will fail.

For me I had to reinstall the server with an english version but i read that you could also just install the english language pack.

If you install the language pack make sure to uninstall the german language.

After that it should work. I don't know why Citrix haven't released a knowledgebase entry for this yet :(

Hi,
I got feedback from a customer who opened a Citrix case.
The installation of XD 1912 CU1 with update to CU2 should help too. We test this asap.
