Any news on silverlight replacement ?

Hey,

I would like to bring up this very old topic.

Customers are looking for a HTML5 GUI for the ELM for a long time now.

Is an update of the GUI still on the roadmap ?

And if so, when is it going to be released ?

That link includes directions regarding "What if I am not allowed to run Silverlight in my environment at all after October 2021?" and directs you to a link which includes https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/install-configure/secure-browser.html#:~:text=the Firefox browser.-,Deploying Virtual Apps Secure Browser Edition,-Download the Citrix. If I understand it correctly, which I may not because it is not clear at all, you are suggesting we set up a XenApp server to host a Silverlight browser and publish that to users as a secure browser. Last time I checked if I spin up an XA server on-prem and run Silverlight there then I am running it in my environment.

Am I missing something? How is this a valid solution for running unsupported software?
