NSGClient over Ubuntu exits before login

Hello, 

My name is Carles and I have a problem with NSGClient versión 1.0.0.134 over Ubuntu 18.04.

Usually NSGClient is working fine, but sometimes, when I try to log to VPN NSGClient exits automatically. I execute again the client and it exits one time and another when I try to log.

If I execute the client through terminal it appears this message "*******LOG OUT*******" when it closes automatically.

 

I tried to update to version 1.0.0.138, but when I execute it appears this message.
" This version of nsgclient is incompatible with the NetScaler Gateway. Do you want to update?"

And when I update it, the client backs to 1.0.0.134 version.

 

Do you know how to solve it?

After some days working on it, the only solution I found is restart the computer once and another until it works.

I'm sorry, I just found this.
 

PD: It surprises my that nobody else has this problem!!! :(

Hi, I am facing the same problem. I think that is terrible that Citrix does not provide a quality service for Ubuntu users, since probably the service providers -- I suppose -- pay Citrix for using their vpn software. I have lost weeks of work for being unable to login. Just like you mentioned, I have installed nsgclient18-64.deb with sudo dpkg -i. When I click Logon, the application exists. Before it exits, it asks me to update. It never updates. It seems that the most updated software is an installer called nsepa18.deb. But it is really unstable. When I install nsepa18, I get the apt manager broken. Yet it does not work.  The problems began when I updated R and other softwares in my Ubuntu. These softwares use libcurl4. Initially Citrix was working with Libcurl3, and it could work downgrading libcurl4 to libcurl3. But I reject that kind of answer, since it would be good that Citrix updates its software.

 

If there is a reasonable solution that does not involve to restart the computer until it works, please let me know. And please Citrix make something with your software.

I am not able to use Citrix nsgclient18_64.deb. I have installed and it keeps telling a segmentation fault problem or a resolv.conf problem. I have tried to install both libcurl3 and libcurl4 but there is no way I can make this software work. I have tried rebooting but it is of no use.
