Black Screen Delay at Login XenDesktop 7.15

I just upgraded my Citrix XenApp hosts from Windows 2008 to 2016.  Everything seems to be working fine but there is a login delay where the user only can see a black screen for 10-15 seconds before the desktop fully loads. Is this normal for Windows 2016?  When I was running 2008 I was seeing 15 second logins and now I am near 40 seconds. I am hoping to improve this if possible.

Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like I already tried this.  We are publishing a full XenApp desktop to users and not just apps, Maybe this article  just pertains to launching individual apps.

Hi,

 

Does your VDA's have profile management enabled?

If so 7.15 LTSR CU sessions might launch as a black screen.

Did you find a solution for this?
We have the same problem with our Server 2016 VDAs.
It is worst after a reboot. Then the black screen appears for the first user for about 60 seconds before you see anything.
For all other connections it takes about 10 seconds.
