Xenapp Citrix Receiver Poor Performance with Windows 10 VM on VMware Fusion

Hi, 

I have VMware Fusion 11.5 running on my 2017 MBP (latest Mojave), which is running a Windows 10 VM which I had hoped to utilize Citrix Receiver.  Whenever I start receiver in the VM performance across the entire machine (host and vm) drops significantly, and IF things connect, there is way too much lag to work.

 

Does anyone have any tips for this?  I've tried increasing the VM resources, however this problem only occurs when attempting to use Citrix, everything else on the VM works fine.

This issue can be worked around by disabling the "Accelerate 3D Graphics" option under Fusion's “Virtual Machine” Settings > Display.
