Fischer Matte
I am trying to make Citrix Workspace app v19.6.0.60 to run on Ubuntu 19.04. I tried icaclient_19.8.0.20_amd64.deb and icaclient_19.6.0.60_amd64.deb Installation works without any errors, but when I start the app, I get the following error: Cannot find the file: (/opt/Citrix/ICAClient//config/appsrv.ini). Please check your installation or contact your help desk. In the mentioned folder there is no appsrv.ini but an appsrv.template. Anyone knows whats the problem here? Link to comment
1 Boby John1709155536
I mean something like this. $ /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/wfica ZHPiPGVza3RvcC5EZXNrdG9wcyAtIFJlbW90ZSBQQyAkUDQiMNU-.ica This will do the same thing as "clicking" on the ICA file. for the above to happen - You would need to open the Store in a browser , then click on the App/Desktop , which will download an ICA file, now browse to the location and run the command like above 2 Link to comment
0 Boby John1709155536
Are you launching from the Client itself or the browser ? What error do you see when launching from CLI using '/wfica /path-to-ica-file` ? Link to comment
0 Fischer Matte
Yes I am launching the client itself. What exactly do you mean with '/wfica /path-to-ica-file`? When I run... ~$ /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/wfica .. I get the error I mentioned above. Which is the same error I get when starting citrix app via desktop entry. Link to comment
0 Fischer Matte
Thx, that helped! Didn't know that i had to download this file first. I also had to remove the .ICAClient directory in my user home directory and reimport mozilla certificates. Link to comment
0 Boby John1709155536
Glad to know that it worked. So after removing the .ICAClient folder , are you still seeing the same issue ? Link to comment
