CitrixStoreFront-x64.exe component failed to install with error 0x00000009


Question

We’ve been running upgrade on each farm component.

It has been completed with no issues for Delivery controller

For StoreFront it fails

 

Please see attached screenshots.

 

Following actions suggested on the internet have been taken:
killing the processes called “ComTrade.MPxxxx.exe” – process for SCCM, this changed error code to 0x9 (the one that we see right now)

stop telemetry service – nothing changed

delete c:\ProgramData\Citrix\Storefront Install\xx.xx.xxx – nothing changed

uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable – nothing changed
