That's usually a bug in the VDA software. Have you tried 7.15 CU4?

Restarting the Citrix Desktop Service might fix it temporarily.

We noticed our users are shutting down Win 10 machines which has faststartup option enabled . The machine are getting into a state Combination of Shutdown & Hibernate, which is a low power state rather than complete shutdown . I believe this issue is happening once the machine recovers from low power state and citrix documentation clearly says Hibernate/Sleep state are not supported for remote pc.

To test this theory i applied a registry entry to disable the fastboot option and now i can drastic improvement(More than 120 Machines) in dash users with proper user name.

It seams that Faststartup doesn't work well with Remote PC solution and wish it was clearly documented to disable this feature.

Hello Carl,

Thanks for your response.. Currently upgrade is not a option for me and i have noticed restarting the service ,isn't fixing my issue .. Any other insights and any idea how this issue was fixed ? I saw many user's reporting this issue way back from version 5.6
