Slow \ Laggy Excel 2010 on HP T520

Hi,

 

We are experiencing some issues with some of our users here where Excel 2010 has become very laggy and unresponsive mostly they are using Macro enabled worksheets but the issue affects non macro worksheets too. We have looked into the issue and followed various guides suggesting disabling the accelerated graphics settings etc. and none of these have made any difference.

 

We are using :

HP t520 thin client

Tried using various Citrix Clients from 4.5 to 4.12

 

Microsoft Server 2012 (64bit)

24GB Ram & 8vCPU

Xenapp 7.6 LTSR CU2

Microsoft Office 2010 Pro

Hi,

 

We think we may have fixed this issue but are still not sure what is causing the main issue other than it's related to Citrix Receiver versions

 

We have downgraded the Citrix Receiver to the earliest version we could get which is 4.3 for Windows.

 

Now the users can log in from the T520 thin clients and use excel with no lag or issues reported.
