Connection error on Debian

Hi All,

I need some help with debugging an error I get while connecting to my wife's work citrix environment.

 

In the past i've used the citrix receier without problems for different employers.
For my wife's work she needs to connect from her debian linux laptop to her works citrix environment.
The documentation point to : https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/
Here i downloaded what appears to be the citrix receiver version 18.10
icaclient_18.10.0.11_amd64.deb
ctxusb_2.7.11_amd64.deb

 

When connecting we can login, fill in the code in the sms we receive and then
an .ica file is downloaded and fed to the ica receiver. When that starts and we get into
a screen where we can select a desktop according to the employers docs.

When clicking the desktop we get an error message :
    Cannot connect to "0.0.0.2 - Serverfarm international EMEA"
    No such file or directory. Verify your connection settings and try again.

 

I enabled debugging for the icaclient as per instructions found here :

It instructs to add :
SyslogThreshold=7

to "/opt/Citrix/ICAClient/config/module.ini in the [WFClient] section.

 

After doing this and trying to connect again I get logging in /var/log/syslog

Can anyone shed some light on what goes wrong here ?

Try putting the root certificate from the gateway into /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts/.
