Frank Schifferstein
Created a GPO for the canonical name "Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016)", but the item doesn't show up... anyone struggling with this too ? XA 7.18, SVR 2016 Link to comment
0 Christoph Kolbicz1709156882
i just tried it on my Server 2016 - E-Mail works, Mail does not. this might change if you are using language packs for your users. EDIT: not really correct. i have a german office installed and thats why E-Mail works :-) 1 Link to comment
1 Frank Schifferstein
for unknown reason, works now... "E-mail" did the trick. 1 Link to comment
0 Kasper Johansen1709159522
Try MAILCFG32.CPL :) Link to comment
0 Aaron Silber
Or else if that doesn't work, you can go with the long version: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe" C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~1\Office16\MLCFG32.CPL" Link to comment

0 Christoph Kolbicz1709156882
Mail or E-Mail usually works - you dont have to supply the whole text. Link to comment
0 Frank Schifferstein
Hi Christoph agreed, "usually"... :/ Link to comment
0 Frank Schifferstein
Hi Christoph mostly same here: OS is English language, switching to German (display) language, Office is German language too. Set "E-Mail" (or mail) only, not showing up in CP at all -> bummer I've read some issue on this, a mentioned workaround would be launching the CPL manually . Well, this is not a solution (anyways), users are not allowed to access the server's drives. Link to comment
