Hi all

we have installed XS 7 on HPE BL460CGne8 (inside C7000 with virtual connect) and create bond Active/Passive with 2 NIC (eth0 and eth1 that are maped to differente Virtual Connect Module).

If I disable primary NIC (ifconfig eth0 down) the traffic is redirect correctly to second NIC (Eth1) but ifi I enable again eth0 (ifconfig eth0 up) the host lost connection to the network.

To restore host connectivity i need to disable eth1. After that i can enable again eth1.

I found Citrix KB thas says : active/backup bond need "stack switches", but documentation says the opposite.

PS:if the bond mode is Active/Active no problem.

Thanks for collaboration

With management I typically set the nics to active/passive and for VM's active/active. Stacked switches can present more of an issue, but usually its active/active that is the problem child and not the reverse. Maybe some sort of mac stickeyness on the switches ?
