Client reinstalls

Hi community,

 

My team sees about 3 Xenapp Citrix receiver client related issues about 1 - 3 times a day; we have a big environment.

 

There are various error types that occur on the workstation not allowing a Citrix connection to a published app. These are resolved by reinstalling the client.

 

Has anyone correlated why these reinstalls are necessary on the workstation side to get the connections to published apps working again? Does the client install get corrupted in the file system or registry or something else?

 

Trying to see if there's some proactive monitoring we can do to catch issues on the workstation related to the client to minimize reinstalls or at least service disruptions.

Hey Chris,

 

Instead of reinstalling the receiver, have you tried resetting the receiver? 

 

Also which version of receiver are you using? Does this happen for one application only or all of them?
