Hi,

Have you followed the procedures outlined in our documentation to perform a backup of the files inside the StorageZone (https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/storagezones-controller/4-0/sf-manage-storagezone-controller/sf-storage-center-recovery.html). If so, you can recover the files following the steps in this article: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/storagezones-controller/4-0/sf-manage-storagezone-controller/sf-manage-recover.html.

If you haven't created a backup of the data files, then it depends on the version of your StorageZone Controllers if you still can get the files back. The File Deletion Queue deletes files permanently from the deletion queue after 45 days with the latest version, but if you're running an older version that service cleans up the queue after 7 days. Recovering the files from the Deletion Queue follows the same steps from the recovery article mentioned above, it will automatically retrieve the files from the queue if they are still available. To verify how long the files remain in the Deletion Queue, you can review the Period value in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\StorageCenter\SCFileCleanSvc\FileDeleteService.exe.config, which has the number of days that the files remain in the Deletion Queue.

Thanks,

Rob
