Inside Integrated caching, there's a feature called "Cache Forward Proxy"... what's the difference between this, and using Cache Redirection?

Hi Paul,

For cache Forward Proxy You can follow this article. It may be useful for you

https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/netscaler/11/optimization/integrated-caching/configuring-integrated-caching-forward-proxy.html

Cache Redirection is policy based Feature.Request that match the policy are send to the origin server.

Yeah, read those already, and to be honest, it was the description in the first one that made me thing that this seemed to be incredibly similar to Cache Redirection.

Ok, back to basics: Cache Redirection uses a policy to say "if <condition>, send this request to some external (cache) server to get the content.

Cache forward proxy hooks into IC, but to be honest, whilst that description descibes what to do, it really doesn't describe how it works (so typical of much of the netscaler docs!)
