I have published an internal SharePoint site though netscaler, using URL Transformation since SharePoint is using a domain name that is not accessible externally.

Overall it works, but most image URL's is not transformed in the response, and when clicking view source in then web browser, the image URL's are the internal names and not the external.

I also tried to use a rewrite policy to rewrite response and replace all URL's in the body. This worked for SOME images, but not all...

I cannot understand whats else I need to do to get this working on all images.

Can you post your URL Transform policy expressions?

I suspect that these images might have been referenced in a .css file, which (from memory)  URL transformation doesn't change.

That means that the "flavour" of your rewrite might need to change to better find those URLs in the .css pages

I solved this by configuring a feature called "Alternate Address Mapping" in Sharepoint. This eliminated the need for rewriting.
