2 site setup with same license

Exactly what the title says, is it possible to have 2 different sites but use the same license

 

Our first site uses xenapp 6.5 and is a 2 farm setup( in the process of upgrading)

 

Second site is brand new and is running 7.12. We do not want them communicating with each other.

 

My question is can it be done and has anyone run into something like this.

For migration purposed I'm pretty sure I remember doing that. You can setup two different license servers and install the license on each separately and use both.

how long would we be able to keep up both license servers?

Indefinitely. You can run multiple license servers. Your license file will need updated as it expires, but you can run multiple license servers for multiple farms. I'm pretty sure you can download your license file multiple times specifying different host names. Its been a while since I did that, but I remember doing it when going version 5 to 6.5.

awesome, thank you for the quick response! Just curious with your environment what kind of fail over do you have setup? like should i try to setup 2 servers with studio and the delivery controller?

I'm XenApp 6.5 presently. We dropped our XenDesktop initiative, so no Studio/Delivery Controllers.

I have Implementation for HQ and DR sites Can I use same License for both as DR site is not working while HQ is UP ?
