user sessions random disconnecting using receiver 14.6.0.12010

johnny07 | Enthusiast | 6 | Members | 18 posts

hello, we have an issue with receiver 14.6.0.12010

all our users connected to xenapp 7.12 through netscaler 11 and storefront 3.0 with receiver 14.6.0.12010 are randomly disconnected from their sessions.

installing an older receiver solves the problem.

is this a known problem, are we alone?

please some advise.

Thanks in advance.

Johnny Bos

our issue is solved!

the problem was a custom cipher group bound to the vserver.

this group was created to increase security, now back to default, no disconnects anymore.

everybody thanks for your comments.

carl, thanks for you quick response.

first i am not an netscaler pro, it is deployed by an third party.

as far as i can see is to the netscaler virtual server only a http profile applied with the name "nshttp_default_strict_validation"

there is no tcp profile assigned.

carl, i will do that tomorrow morning when i am at the office.

i was reviewing our older netscaler config and there the XA_XD tcp profile is applied to the virtual server so it makes sense.

within 14 hours i will reply.

Thanks Carl.

Carl, we attached the profile but did not solve the problem.
We where focused on the server side for solving the problem.
but looking at the client side we found that receiver is crashing with the following error:

Are you saying you are seeing the crash once you attached the profile or prior to that also?

As you are seeing process crash, please work with Citrix Support team to debug this and suggest further.

Thanks

Kishore
