We are using Xenapp 7.8, storefront 3.5.x, netscaler

We have two different storefronts, a desktop receiver and an Html5 receiver storefront.

Both storefronts are set to timeout after 15 mintues of inactivity. When a user opens an application in the desktop portal the storefront times out if they are not actively clicking, even though they are working in an application.

Our HTML5 storefront times out along with the application.

Is the storefront timeout independent of any actions taking place in the desktop ica applications? Is there anything that can be done to link the two timeouts together?

Is this a feature, rather than a bug?

Citrix Support let me know that this is a feature.

Has anyone implemented a workaround?

If the applications can't interact with Storefront in a manner such that Storefront doesn't time out (and it looks like it cannot) - is there a way to make the 'Your session has 5 minutes left' pop up/over other windows?

The complaint we are hearing is 'the system is broken because I'm active in a published application and the Storefront times out - and I have to re authenticate'.  Storefront provides a warning - but it may not be user-visible due to competing windows.

Thanks much
