Hi All,

Please look into Disabling the Active Accessibility hook which is a seamless flag. Use this tool to set the value - http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX115146 . No restart required, simply log a new session onto the server which you set this value on and the drop down list should now work correctly.

Thanks,

Andrew

We installed Receiver 4.4 on some test clients, hoping to (eventually) solve a problem experienced since HRP7 on XA6.5.

Not only did this not solve the problem, as could be expected, but it actually introduced a new one.

When clicking on a dropdown list in MS Dynamics AX 2009, the list quickly opens up and closes right away. This can be reproduced on Windows 7 as well as Windows 10 clients.

It only happens in seamless mode, not inside published desktops.

Obviously the problem disappears as soon as we uninstall Receiver 4.4 and roll back to Receiver 3.4 Enterprise.

Still we would like to roll out Receiver 4.x successfully.

Anyone experienced (and solved...) similar problems?

Adding new binary value "UserPreferencesMask"=hex:90,12,01,80 ,10,00,00,00
i.e \NTUSERDAT\Win2008_x64\UPM_Profile\
to users NTUSER.DAT File in users citrix profile path seems to resolve this issue

this has been tested on AX 2009 receiver 4.4.1

Please test and report back.

Hey Patrick, did you ever get back to Neil Lawson as he has left the company. I would like to pick this one up as its an important on going issue that can can be replicated with ease.  Thanks, Mark Cowley

We have currently the same issue using Dynamics AX 2012 R2, is this issue being logged as an official issue that will be resolved ?

I understand that an issue has been raised, but Citrix do not seem to bothered by it.  So no we are still having issues.

Hi,

the following registry settings helped me to fix a display problem with Microsoft Dynamics and Citrix Receiver 4.3:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Configuration\Advanced\Modules\WFClient
Value name ForceLVBMode
Value type REG_SZ
Value data 1

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Configuration\Advanced\Modules\WFClient
Value name DeferredUpdateMode
Value type REG_SZ
Value data True

You have to do these changes on the client computer.

Hi Michael,

Have you tried this with Citrix Receiver 4.4?

We have a 6.5 XenApp farm and since we have gone to R7 we only have the one remaining issue with Citrix / AX which the same issue that Neil Lawson raised.

Hi Andrew

This does indeed seem to do the trick. First testing is positive.

Thanks
