Cannot connect to the citrix xenapp server.The citrix ssl server you have selected is not accepting connections

When a user try to access application using user proxy settings ,then below error occurred. Can some help me on this.

 

Cannot connect to the citrix xenapp server.The citrix ssl server you have selected is not accepting connections

 

 

We are using xenapp 7.6 ver. with latest citrix receiver.

Have you checked the default.ica for your Store to see what proxy type is set to? If it is set to None you would see this error on connections where the browser does use a proxy.

That's usually a firewall / port issue. If the Citrix server and the user's PC cannot connect on the necessary ports, 2-way communication would be blocked.

 

I'm guessing your proxy server is acting as a firewall as well?

 

You'll either need to add the citrix server(s) as an exception to the user proxy rules so that the users connect directly to it, or you'll need to modify your proxy / firewall server access rules to ensure they allow communication on the required ports.

Do you have a netscaler in your environment?
