Hello,

Adding the registry key did not change the behavior.

However, I've just found this KB that works well :

Host to Client URL Redirection not Functioning with Windows Server 2012 and R2

Hello,

I've just installed a new XenDesktop 7.6 running on Windows Server 2012 R2.

URL redirection is required by users, to open http links on the Citrix client navigator. The feature works well, but the first time I click on a link (in Word for example), I have a Windows pop-up asking me for the application to use to open http / https links (see capture).

I need to select Citrix Metaframe Server FTA, which is annoying for users.

Is there a way to automate this ?

I've tried to set the association by registry in HKCU, but WS 2012R2 uses a "hash" that avoid setting the same value for all users (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17946282/whats-the-hash-in-hkcu-software-microsoft-windows-currentversion-explorer-filee).

Thanks,

David.

Same Problem here,

2012R2 + XD 7.7

Citrix Metaframe Server FTA claims .html.

Did you find a solution?

Set this regkey to fix it:

HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Citrix\SFTA

DisableServerFTA=dword:1
