Ken Z
Hi Alexander On my NetScaler, I can log onto the management interface and in the Reporting section, under Network > IP, I can view the "Megabits received vs Megabits transmitted" graph, which should give you the details you require... Alexander Wetendorff
i was just under the impression that the throughput was not working as it said 0 mbps when 70 users where connected.. Regards Alexander
Ken Z
Hi Carl this gives you an instantaneous value, but you can't really tell from that what the typical throughput was for the last 30 minutes (for example) or the last day. EDIT: if you click on the "Throughput" link in that little window, it gives you a bit more info lower down. Alejandro Moreno
Hi Carl my Netscaler VPX still is not in production. I need to select the correct version 10, 200 or 1000 to buy it. My server will give ICA connection to 30 users. Which Version do you recommend? Thanks Alejandro
CarlStalhood
30 users all doing video will max out 10 Mb. I would go with 200 Mbps. If you don't care about load balancing, there's a NetScaler Gateway VPX appliance that gives you 50 Mbps.
Alejandro Moreno
Thanks for your advice. where can I look the VPX 50 license price? I couldn't find it on the Citrix website. Alejandro

Alejandro Moreno
Hello Carl If I'm buying 30 NetScaler Gateway Universal licenses, do they work fine to ICA users externally? Please let me know Thanks Alejandro
CarlStalhood
Not sure what you're asking. Universal licenses are designed for remote access. But you also need an appliance. You can install Universal licenses on the Gateway VPX appliance.
Alejandro Moreno
It means to install Universal Licenses first I need to have Platform license Like VPX 200 Standard. Is this correct? Thanks for your advice and patience. Alejandro
CarlStalhood
Yes, you need the appliance (platform) license first. Then you can install Universal licenses.

Fernando Canales
In NetScaler, click the Dashboard tab. In the top middle is a Throughput counter. Hi Carl I want to monitor the NetScaler System throughput and get an alamr before it exceed System throughput limit. In this case I tried with the SNMP OID platformLicensedThroughput or (1.3.6.1.4.1.5951.4.1.10.2.48) but it will be sent as trap only when it exceeds the throughput. Do you know how may I proactively monitor the NetScaler System throughput? Thanks in advance
