multiple audio output devices

Thorsten Schoepker

Question

We are using IGEL Linux Thin Clients to get access to Microsoft Lync on a published citrix desktop.
The problem is: the linux citrix client takes only one audio device in to the citrix session.
We use plantronics bluetooth headsets which work superb with citrix and lync. But there is no possibility
to change the options in lync to set the incoming ring tones to the second audio device (thin client speakers)
because it is not taken in to the session. (please see attached pics).

Thin-Client-Infos:
IGEL Universal Desktop LX, Linux Citrix Receiver 12.1.6.231670, Firmware 4.12.100.01

Terminalserver-Infos: XenApp 6.5, Windows 2008 R2 - 64bit, Lync 2010

Same problem here, we have users who prefer to use headphones for music, and Jabra for phone calls. Right now, the only way is toggle back to iGEL desktop and change output/input on the TC side.

iGEL UD 10.05.500

Linux Workspace App 18.10.0

I was told even if it is to be implemented, it would take 6 months to 2 years once is approved and in DEV hands.
