PER HERTZBERG
Hi, i downloaded the NS VPX and got it started on my ESX, but during start up i only got to configure the ip-settings and no admin credentials. What is the initial username and password for the VPX?? The docs just say to login using the administrative credentials, but what are they?? Randy Pineau
Thank you ... it took me nearly an hour to find this information. Why Citrix doesn't put it in the admin or getting started guide is unknown. Randy
Christopher Gray
Chapter 4: http://support.citrix.com/servlet/KbServlet/download/23207-102-645238/NS-GettingStarted-Guide-EN.pdf It is, however, omitted from the getting started guide specific to the VPX. Andrew Sandford
Hello Randy, I checked and in CTX124591 Citrix NetScaler VPX Getting Started Guide - Release 9.2 there is no mention of the nsroot credentials. Thanks for the valuable feedback. I will inform the internal team responsible. Regards, Andrew
DEREK SEAMAN
Too bad the v9.3 VPX guide STILL omits the nsroot credentials. WHY?!?
John Adams1709155789
I guess nothing has changed here four years later - I wasted time looking for this. Still does not work for me I can login to the console with nsroot but not the web interface, another thread says use nsrecover as the user with nsroot as the password. Just put the b$%&^%&y password in the documenation you people.
Jani Kohonen
Your nsroot credentials obviously works, if you can log in into console, have you tried GUI admin page as well? What do you mean by cannot log in with nsroot credentials into Web Interface, you mean Web Interface installed on NetScaler? That's not possible though. Could you elaborate what you are trying to accomplish?
Tonio Roffo
Was still looking for this in 2019 - first hits, this page, no citrix manuals.
