Error number 2311 - The ICA Client received a corrupt ICA file...

I was trying to increase the default timeout value from 20 minutes through IIS. Long story short, every time we go to launch an application we get the following error:

Error Number 2311 - The ICA Client received a corrupt ICA File. The name (<%) is not allowed for a section.

So far I haven't been able to find anything here on the forums. This is what a launch.ica file looks like when logging in through our Secure Gateway server:

This is NOT how one looks locally on our Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 server. Through IIS, I changed all of the values back to 20 minutes but things still aren't working. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

See document ID CTX105772

If you put the .ica mapping back in as indicated at the bottom of that Document ID: CTX105772 you will see that it works again.

We are trying to access a customer's network to support one of our servers. The customer has provided remote access using their MetaFrame Presentation server. We log-in and can see two Desktop Icons to click.

However we ALWAYS get the

Error Number 2311 - The ICA Client received a corrupt ICA File. The name (<%) is not allowed for a section.

message. When we report this back to the customer - they say it is a problem at our end, they never have an issue. They are REFUSING to look at this forum link that I sent. What can we do? We sometimes use gotoMeeting to support them, but as this ties up one of their staff, they want us to stop doing this.

Is this a MetaFrame Client version / Java version / anything version issue - and the customer is ok because they already have an older Client that is less fussy? HELP!
