Hello,

we use our server for Citrix XENApp and RDP connection. All user in our headquarter use RDP for the connection to server. The user in our branches use Citrix protocol for connection to the server.

Why need the RDP connection also a XENApp licence. We have no the issue that the license not enough. How we can fix this problem.

I think only a Citrix connection need a Citrix licence.

Thanks.

Martin

This change happened back in XenApp 6.0, I think. Since Citrix software is managing the machine, Citrix thinks you need a license no matter how you connect to it. To avoid the license, you need to uninstall the VDA.

Is there no chance to change this?

You can uninstall the VDA from the machine.
