I have an Ubuntu laptop and a desktop. On both I am using the following versions:
- Citrix receiver 13.3.0
- HDX realtime engine 2.0.100
Both the i386 version.
These versions as any higher won't work at all as the organization I'm trying to login to doesn't support the latest.
On the laptop this setup is working fine. On the desktop when I'm in a Skype call after a while the RTMediaEngineSRV process crashes with a SIGSEGV in malloc().
Some information from the crash report states:
Segfault happened at: 0xf70e6666 <malloc+54>: mov 0x4(%ebx),%eax
PC (0xf70e6666) ok
source "0x4(%ebx)" (0x00060018) not located in a known VMA region (needed readable region)!
destination "%eax" ok
Stack memory exhausted (SP below stack segment)
has someone seen this before and know how to fix it? Given I am using the same software versions on both computers I'm thinking it's some dependancy that's not the same...
