Hi Stefan,

normaly setting under this key, would be linked under HKEY_Current_User\Software\PrintPlus, that was the reason why I wrote try "Ausnahmeliste" and add there Software\ERP\ERPConfig.

You could test this easily, if you set a new key Test for example, under [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1454471165-2000478354-682003330-1150\Software\PrintPlus] , this key would occur under HKEY_CURRENT\USER\Software\PrintPlus\Test

This works in the other way too, if you change something under HKEY_CURRENT_USER it would be linked to HKEY_USERS\SID of the user which makes the registry change and so on.

Some more Infos to the Link between HKEY_USERS\SID and the HKEY_CURRENT_User you could find under this link:

https://www.lifewire.com/hkey-users-2625903

An other way to save the user settings could be a logoff and a logon script in a gpo. The logoff script would export the registry keys under [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1454471165-2000478354-682003330-1150\Software\PrintPlus] and the logon script could import it.

Hello,

i working with citrix profilmanagement 5.6 in my xen app farm 7.12.

Some user settings are not saved in the user profile. Settings in Word or Outlook are saved, but tabels and columns in our erp-system are not saved. The profil pfad is on our netapp storage, i give the user full access, so i think it is not a problem with the writing rights.

I hope anyone has a idea for me?

thanks,

regards

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

could you post your Policys for the profilmanagement configuration?

Which Files and Folders are excluded from sync, which are included, which registry keys are excluded and included and so on.

Which path in the userprofil would your erp-system use to save configs?

Regards

Daniel

With Citrix Profile Management you are able to include or exclude items.

You will need to find out, where the required settings are saved and configure UPM to include it in sync.

Check the Citrix-Docs for details: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/profile-management/5/upm-tuning-den/upm-include-task-den.html

Or have a look at the Website from Carl Stalhood: http://www.carlstalhood.com/citrix-profile-management

Hi Stefan,

what you could try is if your erp system save it settings for example under "HKEY_USERS\SID of the User\SOFTWARE\ERP\ERPConfig"

Enable "Aufnahmeliste" and enter there "SOFTWARE\ERP\ERPConfig"

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I wanted to give a feedback. Enable "Aufnahmeliste" works for HKCU Struktur, but not for HKEY_USERS. I am not solved my problem.  I have no idea where I could be searched

Stefan

Hi Daniel,

thank you very much for your great help. My problem are solved. I am exporting and importing the HKEY_CURRENT_USER String. That works fine for me. I have tried it with the HKEY_USER, but that dont worked with the variable.

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

nice to hear that it is now working for you, but now I have a question to your solution.

What did you mean with exporting and importing the HKEY_CURRENT_USER string? Are you using a logoff and a logon script or the "Ausnahmeliste" from the UPM?

Regards,

Daniel
