Hi,

Recently upgraded from Xenapp 7.6 to Xenapp 7.12 and scheduled reboot stopped working.

Installed the private fix that was released for 7.12, but scheduled reboot is still not working.

Thought this issue was fixed in 7.13 and therefor upgraded, but didnt do any difference.

Kind of tired fo things stops working with new releases, this is a essential and business critical function to have the scheduled reboot working.

Anyone else experience the same issue?

Same Issue here!

Installing 7.9 Restart Scheduler was working, but after the upgrade to 7.11 and 7.12 and finally to 7.13 the scheduler is not working anymore.

Is there any fix or workaround for this annoying issue?

Same deal here
7.13 rebbots are not working either. Going to recreate the machine catalogs and see if something is hung. Really don't want to deal with Citrix terrible support.

For Stagger Reboot Schedule. I used this method. Its nice and clean.

You can find this on Carl Stalhood site for his weekly updates

Go to his site, and look for the EUC Weekly Digest -Janurary 21, 2017

Just verified and tried the settings you suggested for Xenapp 7.13. This was a Citrix Provisioned Machine Catalog, made no difference when doing these steps. I have not verfied the same procedure with static VDA and MCS provisioned machine catalog.

I havd found that if you disable and re-enable reboots in the GUI it did not fix the issue, however i removed the reboot via Powershell and reenabled using GUI and was fine, that was when we went from 7.11 to 7.12

Never mind I found them.   I removed them and recreated them, but it looks exactly the same.  I"m guessing the active section says false until the scheduled time comes around?

I can confirm that the powershell solution is the way for getting this to work again.

1) Open powershell as admin , asnp citrix*

2) Get-BrokerRebootSchedule to see current schedules

3) Remove-BrokerRebootSchedule -DesktopGroupName (Name of your DG)

4) Go back to Studio and schedule again, wait atleast 15min from the current time in order to test it

This was the solution mentioned by the citrix support...

I can confirm running the commands to remove the reboot schedule and then setting up through studio works.  In my case the commands and my settings were as follows.

Remove-BrokerRebootScheduleV2 "Centre Desktops and Apps"

i'm trying to get this working on 7.12 by using the powershell with the restrictotag instead of the normal reboot schedule. this gives me an infinite warningmessage loop...
