We've recently ( 6 months ago ) installed 4x PVS 7.9 servers to support our XenApp 7.9 Farm.

Unfortunately,  at that stage we didn't have and SQL Always on failover datacenter,  now we do.

I'm currently having disconnection issues connecting to the above,  so :

The question is,  can PVS 7.9 connect to SQL Always on multi-subnet failover as 7.11 does......  Or do I need to upgrade to 7.11 for this feature ?

Thanks
D

7.9 can probably connect to the AAG listener but without multi subnet failover.

Why the hesitation to upgrade?

Thanks for the prompt reply Carl,

There's no hesitation as such,  more looking for the quickest way to get our implementation working correctly & if that means I need to upgrade to 7.11 or even 7.12 then so be it.

Out of interest,  is 7.12 stable ? as I've read there's quite a few issues with it.......  If it's stable,  I'll goto 7.12

Thanks again

D

SQL Always ON with multi-subnet failover is not supported with PVS 7.9, Please upgrade to PVS 7.11/7.12 to make use of this feature.
