Hello,

while studying for CNS-351, I have found the following scenario:

A NetScaler Engineer has created a new monitor using the following command:

add lb monitor mon_inline HTTP-INLINE -respCode 200 302 401 -httpRequest "HEAD /" -interval 10 -reverse YES -secure YES

This monitor adds an HTTP-INLINE monitor __________. (Choose the correct phrase to complete
the sentence.)

A. whose success criteria is an HTTP response code of 200,302,401
B. whose success criteria is any HTTP response code OTHER than 200,302,401
C. that will probe the Service every 10 seconds over an SSL connection whose success criteria is
an HTTP response code of 200,302,401
D. that will probe the Service every 10 seconds over an SSL connection whose success criteria is any HTTP response code OTHER than 200,302,401.

In terms of response code, it should be OTHER THAN 200,304,401 due to "reverse" option set to yes. However, I believe answer is D over B while test results states otherwise (B is correct).

Could you please advise me on this?

Thank you in advance,

Niki Garini.

D .

its SSL (-secure YES) , its reverse monitor(-reverse YES) , Looking for response code 200 , 302 and 401( so with reverse option , it will mark a service UP only when the response code is NOT 200,302 or 401 .)

as it is a http-inline it does not probe but rather just checks the response code's from normal http transaction flow's
