Has anyone seen the behaviour that the Citrix Broker Service (version 7.6, patched to latest public hotfixes) logs :
eventid 1198 (success, no longer in grace period)
- in the same second followed by:
eventid 1197 (The Citrix Broker Service will now stop providing desktop and application sessions. This controller is no longer in or could not enter a licensing grace period due to insufficient licenses on the license server)
In director the controllers are shown as not having a connection to the license server. In studio the connection is ok, the license server is reached and info is shown.
Citrix Licenses are consumed, so this seen cosmetical. But director is showing that there is an major error. Our XD license model is the standard, Enterprise UD licenses.
No errors via Citrix License console, using the latest Citrix License server installed on 1 (of 2) broker(s). Windows patches are up-to-date.
Anyone seen this? it is starting to get very annoying. Seems to occur after the latest broker patches 7.6.1.
