I get this error when I try to create machines on different host then Desktop Controller, but if I do the same on the same host then I do not have issues.

 

Can someone please help as this is really not seen on the whole of web and I need to deliver the POC at the earliest. :(

I assume you're also on vSphere?

 

Can you tell us the rough geographic location of the following?

 

* Your XenDesktop Controller

* Your vCenter server

* The ESXi servers on which you're trying to create the machines

 

The previous error was due to a system timeout caused by extreme geographic separation of these infrastructure pieces.

I have a support case opened. It seems to be a VMware error, and Support asked for the "vShere web client

 

" logs.

 

Yesterday I uploaded them, and I am waiting for the dev-analysis team to analyze them.

I have opened a ticket with Citrix as well.  I ran into this problem on a Monday morning.  I am not 100% sure, but I have a hunch something changed in vCenter 5.5 Update 1 or 2 that is causing this.  I had a vCenter server crash and had to reinstall and opted to install vCenter 5.5 Update 2..Then all heck broke loose.  The problem has been "band-aided"  for the moment but I am looking forward to a solution from either party.  As long as I don't have to add more virtual desktops to my machine catalogs I can limp along.

I logged   case with Citrix support and was fixed last week.

The solution was to apply a private fix which was replacing one of the dll on the xendesktop server
