So far, on my 2011-era Mac and MacBook, both running OS X Yosemite, 11.9 seems very stable, and much smoother than 11.8.2. In addition, the native-resolution capability results in a much sharper desktop. I hope you can release this officially soon.

Works very well so far (mid-2011 MacBook Air, Yosemite).

I installed "Citrix Receiver Version: 11.9.0 (288549)" but my issue still exist. I upgraded my device from Mac Maverick (10.9.5) to Yosemite (10.10). Issue is that now after accessing NMCI Host Virtual Desktop (HVD), it prompt for CAC Cert and Pin, which it accepts, then clicking on HVD icon, launched HVD at which point the CAC Card and pin would be requested again but instead it displayed the error message "No valid certificate found. Check that the card is inserted." Please assist.

Installed 11.9 on the Yosemite release. My firm sends a web page after login where we click on an icon to start Citrix. On Mavericks, Citrix starts immediately, on Yosemite, Citrix never starts.
Any ideas what could be happening?

Network connections freeze up whenever I have a Citrix Receiver session open, and if I simultaneously surf the web using Safari. The freeze up doesn't happen immediately, but inevitably happens every time. Only way to restore is to re-start. This issue occurs with Yosemite and Receiver 11.8.2 and 11.9. As long as I stay off Safari when running a Citrix session, everything works just fine.

Same issue on Yosemite. Upgraded to 11.9 receiver and it just goes to "starting desktop" and nothing happens. 2 different machines. Both machines are remote and access citrix VDI in a box over VPN previously.

Bill,
What web browser are you using?
Thanks,
Dustin

Brian,
Were you seeing this issue with 11.8.2 or is it new with 11.9? Session logs would be useful in helping to figure this out.
Thanks,
Dustin

Dan,
Is Safari freezing or your Receiver session, or both? Does it affect other apps as well?
Thanks,
Dustin

Dustin - it freezes both. Next time it happens. I'll see if it impacts other apps.

Dan,
When it happens again, open /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor.app. In the Activity Monitor list, find Citrix Viewer. Select it, click the gear icon in the toolbar and select Sample Process. Save the sample to a text file and post it here.
Thanks,
Dustin

Certificate of smart cards (PKI) is not working !
Michael,
When you say that your smart card isn't working, what part in particular? Authenticating to a session during connect or smart card remoting (i.e. accessing your smart card from an application in the session).
Thanks,
Dustin

Just happened again, but I missed the opportunity to grab the sample. Will do next time. FYI, it does freeze internet access - html mail messages in Mail are impacted, and couldn't access the App Store either.

Happened again...here is the sample.
Sampling process 422 for 3 seconds with 1 millisecond of run time between samples

Thanks. It looks like you are getting disconnected and Receiver is trying to reconnect. It would appear that your network is going down. When this happens are you rebooting the whole machine to recover? Are you using WiFi? If so, does it show as being connected or disconnected? What kind of Mac is this?

I have to reboot. On a direct ethernet connection...system is a 2012 iMac 27 inch. System is totally stable with no network issues out side of this scenario. This happens regardless of whether ethernet or wifi - I initially thought it was a wifi issue and went with ethernet.

Anything odd in /Applications/Utilities/Console.app around the time that this happens?

typically discoveryd is at the top of the list on network activity when it happens. I'll check next time and post results
