Hi, how do you publish Active Directory Users and Groups in XenApp 7.6?

In 6.5 this method works but in 7.6 the executable is required.

Just try this

Path to executable file : mmc.exe C:\Windows\system32\dsa.msc

Working Directory : %SystemRoot%\system32

you can also try like this for AD users and computers and DNS console

Path to executable file : mmc.exe

Command line : dsa.msc

Working Directory : %SystemRoot%\system32

I hate UAC, yes I disabled it. Probably not the best thing to do from a security perspective, but sometimes you have to override security with the convenience of usability. I know you can create a shortcut do do elevated permissions that you could publish. You might also be able to use a utility like psexec to launch and bypass UAC.

AD is a directory service provided by Microsoft. A directory service is a hierarchical arrangement of objects which are structured in a way that makes access easy. However, functioning as a locator service is not AD’s exclusive purpose. It also helps organizations have a central administration over all the activities carried out in their networks.
