After creating the Personal vDisk for the pooled VM's the "system" process is running at >50%. This is not happening in the base VM. Anyone experienced the same behaviour?

Thanks

Theo,

Few questions for you:

Does the high CPU occur in all the VMs in the pool?

Does the CPU usage drop after some time?

Can list the apps you have installed in the base VM?

High CPU occurs in all VM's with a Personal vDisk
It sometimes drops for a short time (1 minute or so) most of the times it is 50% or higher
It's a clean image with MCAfee version 8.7i, the citrix receiver (version 3) the citrix offline plugin (version 6.5), the citrix self service plugin (version 2.1), the edgesight xendesktop agent and profile manager version 4

The VM itself has 1 disk and two partitions (c: for system en d: for data as profiles, streaming data, edgesight data etc)

Regards,

Theo

Theo,

Can you run test and update the pool VM's without Edgesite.....unsure this is an issue in the offical release (sent your config off to QA to confirm), but thinking there maybe an interaction between McAfee and Edgesite with personal vDisk in the picture that is causing the high CPU.
