Nvidia Chipsets?
What is the likelihood of supporting Nvidia Chipsets on the host laptop? I have just bought a hp 8440p, but with the nvidia card, and wanted to know if/when I can start testing a version of XenClient on it!
I have seen the articles on Xen.org relating to the nvidia chipsets, so I guess its a possibility.
If you are currently working on an nvidia compatible application - how far off is an alpha/beta for it?

I concur with this request.... I've got a Dell 6400 with the NVidia Quadro card and can't do squat with testing and utilizing the Xenclient.
In fact, that's the standard video card that the majority of our users have in their laptops and desktop and i ws hoping to be able to leverage (and brag) about Citrix's VDI advancements with the endpoint hypervisor....
Unfortunately, I'm dead in my tracks for testing it myself without different hardware.

We're working to have NVIDIA support in the first half of 2011.

Honestly? Probably till June/July 2011?
---start rant----
To be honest with you, I personally (and i bet my daily morning coffee, others think about the same here) dont care about getting GPU support to the VMs (well the Intel GPUs arent superfast GPUs either so well trying anything more than running flash or *.avi/mpeg could be ...well....choppy) in first place.
I personally (yes i am an egoist, but then i hadn't had my morning coffe so far ;) ) would rather love to see a much wider HCL, so that i could go to my customers, give them the CDr with the XenClient and say "You've got to try this! Its a damn cool Product by Citrix!" (which it is in my eyes!)
I wish i could, but well most of the Laptops that have the power under the lid to be candidates for testing, have, yes you guessed it right, an Nvidia GPU. Getting a new Laptop for testing XenClient and working with it clocks in at about 1200€ without any licenses or support.
Now think about the scenario, you in the office of your boss asking for a new Laptop that will cost >1000€ just for testing a new "IT toy". I bet he is unhappy, even if he had his morning coffee allready ;)
-----end rant-----
Sorry about the ranting, but i think Citrix is here in danger of frustrating a lot of people that want to try out the product but cant do so because its not working and poisoning the positive thinking about the product.
