Testing a pool of 4 XenServers and just created 100 VMs to test. Most came up and were provisioned just fine, but I noticed some did not come up (tipped off by "XenTools not installed" flags).

Upon further investigation, they were sitting at boot with the above error "No more network devices", defaulted to the cache drive D: (shared disk) and then failed to boot.

PVS 5.6, XS 5.6. 12GB RAM in PVS server (single server for now). Network utilization low, CPU low. I have a bond on my XenServers that is the same VLAN as the PVS servers, and utilization on this network appears extremely low (so low in fact, I'm not even sure it's using this net for the streaming traffic, although it must be?).

I do not see any errors in the PVS Event Log - any ideas?

Thanks

BF

This turned out to be a lack of DHCP addresses issue.

Solved.
