I have a customer who forgot the password for the root account and now can't login to the appliance. Is there any way or workaround to restore the default password or break it? It's a 2010 Series AG with version 4.5.6.
Thanks in advance,

I have used this before. http://alsolorzano.com/blogs/tips__tricks/archive/2009/01/13/how-to-reset-the-password-of-a-citrix-access-gateway-2000-2010-models.aspx
Hopefully the have it documented or a backup config.restore just in case.

Jurian, but how do you put it to work with a 2010 model, it doesn't have a VGA port and the the procedure in the page needs visibility of the ubuntu you're running on the CAG?
Thanks for your response,

Behind the bezel on the front isn't there ports for mouse, keyboard, and monitor? I thought there was if I remember correctly once you took the bezel off.

Jarian, i could follow the procedure and could set a password, but when i change the root password on the admin page the password gets lost or something. It's like when you set the password, it is saved corrupted or something else. I'll repeat the password change based on the link and see if it happens again. Is there any other way to change it without doing it at the admin page?
Thanks for your help,
