Mac OS X Leopard
Most recent Citrix Mac client

SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX", the issuer of the server's security certificate. Error number 183

Solution:
1- login to the MAC
2- in the Citrix installation folder: (*most likely /Applications/Citrix ICA Client*) create the folders: /keystore/cacerts

3- Go to a Windows based computer. In Internet Explorer >> Tools >> Internet Options >> Content >> Certificates >> Intermediate Certification Authorities(TAB)
4- Find the name of the cert in the Mac error message XXXXXXXXXXXXX (Above) and click to highlight it.
5- Click Export.... >> Next >> Select DER encoded Binary X.509 (.CER) >> Next
6- Click Browse >> Choose a location ( I Suggest Desktop) >> The file name should be the same as in the error message..... ex. VeriSign Class 3 Secure Server CA - G2

7- Go to the file on the desktop and rename the .cer extention to .crt >> Accept any message asking if you are sure you want to change the extension.
8- Get that file to your Mac (email, USB stick...)
9- Copy that file to /Applications/Citrix ICA Client/keystore/cacerts
10- Give'er a try.

This is the only thing that worked for me....

Awsome! Worked great after I've struggled off/on for more than a month to past this error.

Cory if you run into this issue with the 11.0 client, the steps are similar except the folder location has changed.

You'll have to go to the terminal window to do this properly:

Open a terminal window and type the following

sudo mkdir /Library/Application\ Support/Citrix/keystore/
hit enter, type in your admin password when prompted then type:
sudo mkdir /Library/Application\ Support/Citrix/keystore/cacerts

You can then use Finder to copy the root / intermediate certificates to this location.

I'm running OS X version 10.6.3.

I've tried both solutions and neither seem to work, but I'm wondering if I didn't follow the "terminal" directions correctly? I typed in the first part, entered my password, then typed in the second line - and nothing happened. What is supposed to be the result of the second command?

Thanks!

This is what worked for me:

SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX", the issuer of the server's security certificate. Error number 183

Solution:
1- login to the MAC
2- in the Citrix installation folder: (*most likely /Applications/Citrix ICA Client*) create the folders: /keystore/cacerts

3- Go to a Windows based computer that connects to the desired Citrix Server.
9. After that add this certificate to bunch of keys
10. Give'er a try.

THIS WORKS FOR ME:

1. After loading the logon page in Safari, click on the tiny lock top right corner.
2. Drag each of the security certificates that come up to the desktop (drag the big icon that appears when you click on the small icons in the list)
3. Double click each of the certificates you just copied, and choose "add" when asked
4. Don't do anything else, log on to Citrix again, it should be fine now

Good luck!
