I understand the XTE service needs to bind to port 443. So what happens if you need to enable SSL on your Web Interface site?

I have not been able to uncover a satisfactory answer to this question. The forums are filled with suggestions to don’t do that or to use alternate ports. The problem is that this needs to be a client facing thing so using port 443 is really the only reasonable option.

Has anyone tried to get SSL going on a Web Interface site?

I'm assuming that you've got the web interface installed on your Citrix server(s), rather than a seperate, dedicated server?

the XTE Service doesn't NEED to bind to port 443. I assume you're trying to configure the SSL relay option? This doesn't need to listen on port 443, but can be configured for any port that's free. Configure SSL relay for port 444, then you've got 443 free for your Web Interface.
